Serra passed with flying colours the examinations for the environmental standard ISO 14001 and for the IFS production quality standard, an international certificate that few companies in Italy have managed to obtain.
These are important certificates for a manufacturer of quality products, particularly with regard to the environmental certification when looking at sustainable development within the context of the confectionery-making centre that exists in the Novi Ligure region.
Obtaining these certificates involved all the company's employees, including those in the production and administrative areas, co-ordinated by the Quality Control Department with management input through a series of meetings and training courses, the production of instruction manuals and procedure preparation.
Serra believes that these certificates are an important indication of the company's commitment to improved performance and continued growth.
